Village Hotels owner KSL Capital Partners is reportedly in talks with private equity group Blackstone over a £850m sale of the business.
The mid-market group of 33 hotels in the UK, with more than 4,000 rooms, was acquired by KSL for £485m in 2014.

Village Hotels was founded in 1995 and its properties feature pub-style restaurants, gyms and co-working spaces.
Last year, the group entered a three-year partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation to feature its branding at events and run competitions for event tickets and other prizes.
