Jamie Oliver is having to close his Italian restaurant in Gunwharf, Portsmouth as the landlord plans to replace the eatery with four retail units.
The Italian restaurant opened six years ago in the unit which used to house a Donnay sports shop.
A spokesperson for Jamie's Italian said: "The space we occupy will be split into four separate retail units. The closure is is no way a reflection on the dedication and commitment of our staff and we will be looking to secure as many of those affected as possible with alternative jobs within the restaurant group estate."
The group is said to be looking to secure the jobs of the staff currently working in the restaurant.
Last year, Oliver announced that Six Jamie's Italian restaurants across the country were going to close due to a "tough market".
