It comes after a series of openings last year, including a site in Bank and another in London Bridge
Quick-service sushi roll restaurant SushiDog has announced plans to open its tenth site in London at the end of the month.
Writing on LinkedIn yesterday (7 April), Nick Goldstein, co-founder of the sushi chain, said the opening of its new location in Fitzrovia was “a particularly special day as we’ve hit double digits and opened our largest store yet”.
He said that he and his co-founder Greg Ilsen “have come a long way from packing a van back in 2018 and driving all our kit to Westfield to open Site 1”.
SushiDog, which serves sushi rolls, bowls and salads made fresh-to-order in front of customers, received £612,000 from investment firm Middleton Enterprises in early 2023 and a further £800,000 last year.
The funding was designed to support the brand’s wider goal to open 30 new sites across the capital over the next five years.
It opened four new sites last year, including a site in Bank and another in London Bridge.
