Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s GG Hospitality opened the hotel in 2019
Manchester’s Stock Exchange Hotel has joined Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s GG Hospitality opened the 40-bedroom hotel in a Grade II-listed building in central Manchester in 2019.
It joins Marriott’s Autograph Collective, which brings together “distinctive, independent hotels carefully crafted to leave a lasting imprint”.
Sandra Schulze-Potgieter, vice-president, premium and select brands EMEA for Marriott International, said: “Stock Exchange hotel embodies everything that is special about the Autograph Collection, with its own extraordinary history, embracing both the heritage and fabric of the historic building to bring Manchester a hotel that truly tells a story.
“Our Autograph Collection guests revel in original experiences combined with great service, both knowledgeable and welcoming. The Stock Exchange is rich in both – with its distinct character and attention to detail in service that keeps guests coming back – which makes it a great addition to the portfolio.”
Winston Zahra, co-owner of the Stock Exchange hotel, added: “We are thrilled that the Stock Exchange hotel has joined the Autograph Collection today. The hotel is a very special building which has fast established itself as one of the best hotels in Manchester and we believe that joining the Marriott family will enable us to achieve even better results in the future.”
When the Stock Exchange opened its signature restaurant was Tom Kerridge’s Bull and Bear, but this closed in 2022 and has since been replaced with Tender by former Whatley Manor executive chef Niall Keating.
