Clapham House Group today revealed it has signed up a second international franchisee for Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK).
A deal has been struck with a local partner in Turkey, which will see at least 11 GBKs opened in the country during the next four years.
Clapham House will receive opening fees for each unit and a fixed percentage of sales but will not be making any capital investment.
The group already has four GBKs under franchise in the Middle East.
At Clapham's annual general meeting, chairman David Page said the group had been encouraged by the performance of its units outside it London heartland with two new openings in Manchester performing strongly.
The company currently has 84 units, having added 13 in its current financial year, and also operates the Tootsies, Real Greek and Bombay Bicycle Club brands.
New GBK sites will open in York, Edinburgh and Leeds shortly.
