Hilton International has signed a management agreement to operate a new-build hotel outside Dublin.
The four-star Hilton Dublin Airport is due for completion in spring 2005 at a cost of about €45m (£30m).
Hilton said it would create about 110 new jobs for the area.
As well as 166 guest bedrooms, the hotel will have seven meeting rooms, a 350sq m conference and function room for up to 250 people, a 160-seat restaurant, 75-person capacity bar and a LivingWell Express fitness centre.
It is part of a €350m (£233m), 20-acre development near Malahide Village, which will include up to 700 apartments, fourteen retail outlets and four office blocks.
Hilton has signed the management agreement with construction company PJ Walls.
The hotel group already has one property in Dublin, the 189-bedroom Hilton Dublin in the city centre.
