Edinburgh-based Signature Pub Group has acquired seven sites from the Speratus Group for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2003 by Nic Wood (pictured), Signature Pub Group, which had a turnover of nearly £18m in the year to 31 October 2017, has a portfolio of 14 pubs, hotels and restaurants across Scotland.
Wood's company has now acquired the Auld Hundred pub in Edinburgh; Nox nightclub and Paramount bar in Aberdeen and the Boozy Cow burger bars in Edinburgh, Dundee, Stirling and Aberdeen from his brother Garreth's Speratus Group.
Nic Wood said the acquisition had been "a very natural progression" and the company will continue to "drive for success" as a new team.
Signature said it has two more "large projects in the pipeline", as well as further refurbishments planned on the back of this deal.
