Celebrity chef Gary Rhodes will make his Irish debut in May when he opens Rhodes D7 Dublin in a landmark development in the city.
The 200-seat restaurant and bar will be based in the Capel Building in Mary's Abbey, a mixed-use retail and office development owned by urban regeneration company Benton Property of Dublin. Rhodes D7 Dublin will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and cater for people who live, work, socialise and shop in the area. It will serve Rhodes's signature British-style cuisine.
Rhodes said: "I'm very excited about joining the successful Dublin restaurant scene, one that has achieved immense growth over the last few years with a huge variety of styles of cooking."
The restaurant will be the fifth to join Rhodes's current portfolio, following last year's opening of Rhodes W1 at the Cumberland hotel in London and his first floating restaurant - Arcadian Rhodes - aboard P&O's Arcadia cruise liner.
