Rex Restaurants is set to open a new site called Fischer's in London's Marylebone.
Fischer's, which is designed to evoke the early 20th century neighbourhood cafés/konditoreis of Vienna, will open in late spring 2014.
It will sit at the northern end of Marylebone High Street, on the site of Italian restaurant Cotidie.
The 100-seater restaurant is expected to open all day, seven days a week. Few details about the menu are available as yet, but it will serve an exclusively European wine list, with the majority of wine available by the glass or 500ml carafe.
Rex Restaurants, which is run by Jeremy King and Chris Corbin (pictured), currently has four sites around London: the Wolseley, the Delaunay, Brasserie Zédel, Colbert.
Their new hotel, the Beaumont, in London's Piccadilly, is opening in summer 2014.
