Costa Coffee has opened its first drive-thru coffee shop in the UK at Nottingham's Castle Marina retail park.
The site is the first of six planned across the UK that are due to open by the end of 2012. It will offer seating inside and outside for 100 customers and will be open from 5.30am to 9.00pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 9.00pm on Sundays.
Pritti Patel, from Nottingham, a Costa store manager with more than six years' experience will manage the new Nottingham Drive Thru. She said: "I'm really excited about the Drive Thru opening here in Nottingham. We are really proud to be the first Drive Thru for Costa opening in the UK and look forward being able to serve motorists great coffee and food when they are having a break from their journeys."
