The caterer, which is part of Compass Group, is in the process of launching new menus created by chef Steve Groves.
Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group, has entered a catering partnership with the Design Museum in London’s Kensington.
The caterer works with heritage venues such as Hatfield House and Hever Castle, as well as high street brasseries including Dipna Anand in Milton Keynes and Maria G’s in London’s Kensington.
Under the new partnership, Restaurant Associates will offer catering services for the museum restaurant and café, as well as its corporate functions and private parties.
The caterer has also revealed plans to introduce new menus, technology and a customer service training programme called Shine at the Design Museum.
2009 MasterChef: The Professionals winner and 2019 National Chef of the Year Steve Groves has been tasked with devising new dishes, which will have a plant-forward focus in line with Compass’ net zero commitment by 2030.
Dirk Talsma, managing director of Restaurant Associates Venues, said: “This partnership represents a unique opportunity for us to bring our extensive culinary, service, and events expertise to such a prestigious and recognisable destination. We look forward to creating unforgettable experiences that reflect the creative spirit of the museum.”
Kirsty West, head of commercial at the Design Museum, added: “This partnership will not only enhance the visitor experience but also elevate the quality of our events with exquisite food that complements the creativity and innovation we celebrate at the Design Museum. We are committed to working together to provide exceptional dining for our guests.”
