Philippe Leboeuf joins the Dorchester Collection from Raffles following the departure of Eugenio Pirri last year
The Dorchester Collection has appointed Philippe Leboeuf chief executive officer following the departure of Eugenio Pirri last year.
Leboeuf joins from Raffles London where he had overseen the opening of the 120-bedroom hotel, which opened in September 2023.
Pirri stepped down from his role as joint chief executive officer at the Dorchester Collection in November. At the time the sudden departure came as a surprise to staff at the hotel.
Leboeuf will now oversee the group of hotels which includes the Dorchester, Coworth Park, the Beverley Hills hotel, and Hotel Plaza Athenee.
Prior to Raffles he had held leadership roles as regional vice president of operations for Mandarin Oriental hotel group, vice president operations for Rosewood and general manager of Claridge’s.
Dorchester Collection president Christopher Cowdray said: "Keeping the Dorchester Collection renowned culture and values alive was key in the selection of Philippe as CEO. Driven by purpose and excellence, he is highly respected globally by many stakeholders including owners, the travel trade, the media and partners, and especially employees and guests."
Philippe added: "As Dorchester Collection hotels write the history of their destinations and have a special alchemy that brings them together, I’m greatly looking forward to taking the company legacy and storied heritage to the next stage."
