Yotam Ottolenghi is to open a new deli in London’s Marylebone Lane next month.
The deli, Ottolenghi’s first for six years, will feature a no-reservations communal dining area around an Amazonian table, formerly from designer Alex Meitlis’s house.
Breakfast options will include shakshuka with braised eggs, labneh and grilled focaccia, granola with Greek yogurt and fruit, and a selection of pastries.
Available from 11am, daily changing salads will comprise the likes of roasted aubergine with lemon and lime yogurt, amba, harissa oil and masala peanuts, alongside mains such as grilled Loch Duart salmon with sweet chilli sauce.
Meanwhile, pastries will include pistachio, rose water and semolina cake, flourless chocolate and rum fondant cake, and white chocolate cheesecake tart with raspberry compote.
