Independent workplace caterer Savore, founded by the former deputy managing director of Vacherin, has secured its first contract for an undisclosed sum.
The five-year contract was signed with a global consultant’s UK head office and will see Savore offering restaurant, café, coffee and event services for the company’s 1,350 employees, clients and guests.
It coincided with further investment in the company from co-founders of Vacherin, Mark Philpott and Clive Hetherington.
Philpott was also appointed non-executive chairman of Savore to support the growth of the London-based catering business.
Dan Kelly, creator and principal of Savore, said: “I couldn’t be more delighted to have attracted Mark and Clive as investors in the business to help Savore grow. The depth of their joint market knowledge and experience in creating an industry-leading brand from the ground up will make a significant mark on Savore’s development.”
Philpott added: “I have great respect for Dan and his strategy for Savore, and I look forward to supporting him and his team to make Savore the ‘go-to’ provider of quality, bespoke dining solutions in London.”
Savore was launched by chef-turned-operator Dan Kelly, who was previously director of food at Vacherin, in September 2022.
Vacherin became part of CH&Co in February 2020.
