Novotel London West is to host a charity dinner next month to raise funds for those displaced by the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy.
The event, organised by London Unites For Grenfell Tower and supported by the West London Hotel Managers Association, will take place at 7pm on 18 July.
The 24-storey Grenfell Tower in Kensington was destroyed by fire in the early hours of 14 June. It is believed that 79 people died in the blaze, with many more displaced.
Edward Bracken, general manager at the Crowne Plaza's London Kensington Hotel and one of the organisers, said: "The initiative behind putting this event together is a wonderful example of how we can unite as like-minded people pulling on the fantastic array of resources to help our neighbours. My colleagues in London have without question jumped at the opportunity to help; they underpin the true values of the hospitality industry."
For £100 per person or £1,000 per table, guests will receive a three-course meal, music and entertainment in the Novotel London West's champagne suite.
An auction and silent auction will also be held to raise further funds. All proceeds will go to the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation. London Unites is currently looking for auction prizes and started taking online bookings from midday on 23 June.
The event emerged from collaboration between a growing number of organisations, including the West London Hotel Association, the Kensington Chamber of Commerce, and the W1 Hotels Association.
