The Lewis Partnership’s 41-bedroom property located near the M6 will star in the programme, which is airing on 11 June.
The Moat House in Acton Trussell, Staffordshire, is set to star in Channel 5’s new television series, The Motorway Hotel, which is airing this week.
The flagship 41-bedroom property is situated near the M6 and owned by family-run hospitality group the Lewis Partnership, which also owns the Dog & Doublet and the Red Lion in Staffordshire.
The programme will spotlight the inner workings of the busy commuter hotspot hotel, and feature 26-year-old Emily, who has just taken over the business from her father, and reluctant retiree Chris, who owns the Moat House.
A third of the 100 staff have been working at the hotel for more than 25 years, while guests range from motorway breakdown rescue drivers to lorry spotters.
Emily Lewis, operations director of the Lewis Partnership, and a recipient of this year’s 30 under 30 Acorn Awards, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be involved in Channel 5’s new show! We were naturally very tentative when the producers first approached us about being a part of the show but as we discussed the details further, we began to feel at ease and ready to see how this exciting adventure would unfold. It’s an incredible opportunity for us that doesn’t come around every day.”
The Lewis Partnership has been operating for over 35 years across three generations.
The Motorway Hotel airs every night at 7pm on Channel 5 from Tuesday 11 June to Friday
14 June.
