Michelin’s latest monthly update has revealed a further six restaurants, including Nuno Mendes’ Lisboeta in London, that will feature in its 2023 Great Britain and Ireland Guide.
Portuguese restaurant Lisboeta opened this spring as a collaboration between Mendes and MJMK Restaurants and was described by Mendes as his “love letter to Lisbon”.
Other new additions include the Blaise Inn in Bristol, run by former Harvey Nichols executive chef Louise McCrimmon and her husband Ian; family-run Edie’s in St Austell; the rural Shibden Mill Inn in Halifax (pictured); and the Bull’s Head in Craswall, Hereford.
Orwell Road restaurant in Dublin was the only new Irish addition, with the guide praising its friendly service and salted caramel custard tart.
Since last summer, Michelin has been unveiling new additions to its listings every month. The restaurants appear as recommended on its website and apps highlighted with a ‘new' symbol.
It will not be confirmed if any of the listings will also receive a star, Bib Gourmand or Green Star sustainability award until a ceremony next year.
