The brand said it was exploring opportunities to expand into hospitality within its financial results
Cosmetics brand Lush has revealed plans to partner with a British brand to open a UK hotel.
The brand, which invented the bath bomb in 1989, said it was exploring opportunities to expand into hospitality within its financial results. However, Lush has yet to reveal details of any opening.
Lush operates spas in markets including the UK, Canada, the Middle East and the US. The group’s first spa opened in 2008 when its founders “set out to create a warm, inviting and homey oasis.”
Lush spas offer treatments including curated bath experiences, facials and massages. Prices range from £40 for a "self-led" bath with a bath bomb, face mask and access to other products in a private room, to a £275 "ayurvedic inspired 65 minute full-body massage".
The UK is Lush’s second biggest market and delivered 1% sales growth in the year to 30 June 2024. The group as a whole recorded a loss before tax of £34.5m.
Lush has almost 900 stores across 50 countries.
