Leslie joins from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where he oversaw a £300m F&B operation.
Jake Leslie has been named director of food and beverage at the Chancery Rosewood, which is due to open in London’s Mayfair next year.
It comes after the hotel, which marks Rosewood’s second London property, announced four senior appointments last month.
Leslie was previously director of food and beverage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, overseeing a vast F&B operation worth over £300m with partners such as Nobu, Gordon Ramsay and Giada De Laurentiis.
Prior to that, he was director of restaurants at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, which has 20 dining outlets, three of which hold Michelin stars.
Leslie said: “I am incredibly excited to join the pre-opening team at the Chancery Rosewood. It is an honour to be part of such a prestigious project, and I look forward to contributing my experience to create unparalleled epicurean and service experiences.”
Michael Bonsor, managing director of the Chancery Rosewood, added: “With an impressive international background and keen commercial acumen, Jake brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable as we prepare to open our doors next year. Jake’s vision and expertise align perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional and memorable experiences for our guests.”
Once complete, the 144-bedroom Chancery Rosewood will feature 10 restaurants and bars (including Le Caprice), an Asaya wellness facility, meeting and events spaces, retail outlets and a 600-guest ballroom.
It marks Rosewood Hotel & Resorts’ sixth property in Europe. The group manages over 30 hotels in 19 countries.
