The Roseate Reading has completed a £3.5m refurbishment, creating a collection of rooms and suites, a spa and a patisserie and boulangerie concept.
To the rear of the main Grade II-listed hotel, 32 new rooms and suites have been created in the ‘House', featuring marble bathrooms and balconies overlooking the private courtyard, while the eight ‘House Studios' suites feature fully equipped kitchens. The conversion of the former apartment building takes the hotel's total number of bedrooms to 55.
Roasted by Roseate is the new in-house patisserie and boulangerie, serving Jing tea and Musetti coffee alongside sandwiches, salads and cakes. The hotel's Aheli Spa was also unveiled this month, with three treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna and a gym.
