Barons Eden Group looking to sell Dial House after only a year

The Barons Eden Group is looking to sell the Dial House hotel in Bourton-on-the-Water after only a year following refurbishment.

The hospitality group acquired the Gloucestershire property in April 2017 off a guide price of £1.95m and has now brought the property to market with Savills at a guide price of £2.6m.

The Grade II-listed Cotswolds building dates back to 1698 and is now run as a 15-bedroom hotel. The property has recently been renovated and, alongside the bedrooms, has two refurbished dining areas and a bar lounge. A spacious garden can accommodate a marquee and up to 120 guests.

James Greenslade, associate in the hotels team at Savills, said: "The Dial House hotel is a fantastic period property and has been renovated to a high standard. Located in the attractive village of Bourton-on-the-Water, the hotel is popular with visitors to the Cotswolds and has further potential for conversion to a wedding venue."

The sale of the hotel will leave the Barons Eden Group with just three properties: Hoar Cross Hall nearby in Staffordshire; Huxleys café and bar in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire; and Eden Hall in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
