Office and venue catering specialist Grazing has appointed Sebastian Price as its first chef director.
Price joined the business last year as executive chef, having previously been executive chef of Food+ by Compass at Google, executive head chef for Sodexo’s Publicis White City site, development and executive chef for BaxterStorey’s south and south-west region, and executive chef for Amazon.
Under his new role Price will take greater responsibility for recruitment, training, menu design, service, operations and logistics.
Sam Hurst, chief Grazing officer, said: “We’ve had an incredible year, largely down to the efforts of so many of our talented team. Seb has played a pivotal role in the development of our offer and we wanted to recognise this through the introduction of our first ever chef director role.
“This role also means we are able to build more strength in depth for our team, positioning us well for further growth.”
Grazing was founded by Hurst in 2007 and has since grown from one café into a corporate catering business.
It secured £8m worth of new contracts over the past year.
