The London-based independent workplace caterer is partnering with carbon management company Auditel to measure its carbon emissions.
Independent foodservice caterer Genuine Dining has partnered with carbon management consultant Auditel to accelerate its journey to net zero.
Auditel will measure Genuine Dining’s carbon emissions across the business and provide a strategy to reduce them.
Prior to the partnership, the London-based foodservice provider had already implemented energy-efficient technology within its kitchens and an exclusively electric fleet of vehicles, vans and cargo bikes for delivery.
Genuine Dining has also been monitoring its supply chain to minimise food waste.
According to its website, the business has committed to becoming a B-Corp certified company.
Mark Wetherall, commercial director at Genuine Dining, said: “We are aware of the impact we have on our communities, our people, our planet, and our partners. In partnership with Auditel and by launching a comprehensive road map to net zero, we are confident we can make a real difference for the environment and our business.”
Nicky Sinker, carbon specialist at Auditel, added: “As responsible business has very much been at the core of how Genuine Dining operates, it has for some time made conscious choices to reduce its carbon footprint. As it continues to recognise its impact and do its best to reduce this, Genuine Dining has entered into a carbon partnership with Auditel to build upon the work it has done to date.”
Genuine Dining was founded in 2012 and caters for a number of workplaces across London through additional services under Amplify and JAAQ Coffee.
