The riverside leisure complex will feature a market with traders such as Goila Butter Chicken and Base Face Pizza when it opens in summer 2025.
Fulham Pier, the riverside leisure complex that is being developed by Fulham Football Club in partnership with Sodexo Live!, has confirmed it will be opening in summer 2025.
The live music, entertainment and hospitality venue is being designed by architecture firm Populous and will be situated between Putney Bridge and Hammersmith Bridge.
Once complete, the ground floor of the development will offer the Riverside Market with stalls such as Tinie Tempah’s Raps, Goila Butter Chicken, and Base Face Pizza, which was founded by a lifelong Fulham FC fan Tim Thornton.
It will also be home to the Orange Box by Theatre Projects, which will create a space for live podcasts, comedy evenings and late-night screenings with its own fully serviced bar and reception area.
The higher levels will feature a destination restaurant and brasserie as well as a boutique hotel and health spa with an exclusive members’ club and roof terrace.
Shahid Khan, chairman of Fulham Football Club, said: “As the first stadium transformation of its kind in Europe, we can’t wait to share the new space with our community and visitors from across London and throughout the world, certainly when Fulham is playing but also every day of every year.”
Glen Sutton, director of Fulham Pier, added: “We saw a unique opportunity to utilise our incredible space and riverside location at Fulham Pier to create a venue for the community. With a year-round programme of events, activations and a variety of food and beverage experiences, we are excited to be taking an innovative approach to delivering a new social destination for residents, locals and tourists in West London.”
Sodexo Live! announced its 11-year contract with Fulham Football Club and its Fulham Pier leisure development in August 2022.
