New starred restaurants will be announced at a ceremony in Glasgow.
The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland will launch its 2025 edition on 10 February at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
Recipients of new Michelin stars and green stars will be announced at the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on YouTube.
Michelin said all chefs running a starred restaurant, as well as journalists, influencers, partners and industry leaders will be invited to the ceremony.
A cocktail party will be held afterwards in the Old Fruitmarket venue in Glasgow.
It is the first time the red book has held its ceremony in Scotland after launching its 2024 edition in Manchester.
Michelin said the move had been made possible due to a partnership with Scotland Food & Drink and Glasgow Life.
Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guides, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce that, for the first time, the Michelin Guide ceremony for Great Britain & Ireland will be presented from Scotland.
“The home of delicious produce, timeless culinary traditions and warm hospitality, Scotland, and more specifically the buzzing city of Glasgow, is a fitting location to celebrate the incredible gastronomic talent across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
“The Michelin Guide team are hard at work preparing an event that will honour the passion, determination and skill of everyone who makes our industry so special.”
Michelin announced its first key awards, billed as a Michelin star for hotels, for Great Britain and Ireland earlier this month.
