The hotel expects to have renovated 40% of its rooms by spring 2025.
Carden Park hotel in Cheshire has announced plans for a £6.5m investment into its 197 bedrooms.
Twenty rooms have finished refurbishment already and 40% of the renovation works are expected to be completed by spring 2025.
The rooms will be fitted with blue and green colour schemes as well as in-room facilities such as a Nespresso coffee machine, Chromecast interactive TVs and Noble Isle toiletries and air conditioning from Vital Heating Solutions.
Meanwhile, the hotel will bolster its environmental initiatives through the installation of PV solar panels, air source heat pumps and energy-efficient air conditioning.
The investment comes after the hotel recently unveiled its newly renovated, £500,000 conference space, the Carden Suite and Morgan’s Bar.
Hamish Ferguson, director and general manager at Carden Park hotel, said: “We are thrilled to embark on this exciting project to enhance our luxury accommodation, reinforcing our commitment to providing an exceptional and rejuvenating experience for our guests. Sustainability has been at the forefront of all previous renovations at the hotel, and we endeavour to continue this trajectory in all future transformation projects.”
In 2020, the hotel also launched its £10m destination spa, the Spa at Carden, which won Hotel Spa of the Year at this year’s AA Hospitality Awards.
