Bristol's Sticks ‘n' Broth closes suddenly

Bristol-based restaurant Sticks ‘n' Broth has closed suddenly after three years of trading.

The Japanese ramen restaurant on Baldwin Street announced the closure on Twitter.

It said: "Thanks to all of the great followers and ramen junkies out there. It has been a pleasure surviving [sic] our delicious bowl of broth and noodles."

Followed by a second tweet confirming: "We sticks&broth are now closed on Baldwin street. Thank you all."

The restaurant was popular with locals and won Best Asian at the Bristol Good Food awards 2015.

Owner Som Miller also owns Toyo Kitchen in Baldwin Street and Sticks ‘n' Broth on Stokes Croft which opened in June this year.

Both businesses are still thought to be in operation; however there was no answer when The Caterer called.

No one at Sticks ‘n' Broth was available for comment.
