The group’s Covent Garden restaurant has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2020.
Pasta restaurant group Bancone is to open its first site in west London this May.
The 120-cover, 2,565 sq ft restaurant will launch within the new Wrights Arcade development in Kensington.
It will be the fourth London restaurant for Bancone, which serves fresh, handmade pasta and has opened sites in Covent Garden, Soho and Borough Yards since 2018.
The Covent Garden restaurant has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2020.
Ben Waugh, former head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Petrus, has been group executive chef at Bancone since 2022.
He will oversee the Kensington restaurant, which will serve Bancone’s signature dishes, including its silk handkerchiefs with walnut butter and confit egg yolk, alongside new menu items.
Ellner said: “When we opened the doors to Bancone in Covent Garden, none of us ever thought we’d be opening our fourth site a few years later in such a great spot.
“We have been looking for the right location in west London for a while now and we are thrilled with this site: spacious and bright, giving us the freedom to create a unique restaurant.
“We are delighted to be opening our fourth site in the heart of west London to enable us to bring our pasta to new audiences.”
