The topping out ceremony for the only non-branded property within the 12-strong collection of Arora Hotels has taken place in Windsor.
Due to open in early 2020, the former 141-bedroom Savill Court Hotel & Spa is in the process of being extended, renovated and transformed into a luxury, 210-bedroom hotel.
Taking part in the ceremony were (from left to right) the Duke of York, Surinder Arora, founder and chairman of Arora Group, and the company's strategy director, Sanjay Arora.
Based around the original Jacobean building, the new-look hotel will feature two restaurants, Champagne lounge, tea salon, bar, ballroom for up to 500 covers and spa.
Arora said: "We have been working relentlessly on the development of this wonderful property for a while now and I cannot express how delighted I am to see our dream start to become a reality. As a company and family, we are all truly looking forward to welcoming this new hotel to our collection."
The Royal Windsor Park hotel is one of two properties currently being developed by Arora Hotels, the other being the Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow.
