Angela Hartnett has appointed James Holah as group executive chef of Murano and Cafe Murano, overseeing the Michelin-starred Mayfair restaurant and its more relaxed sister sites.
Murano opened in 2008 and within four months achieved a Michelin Star, followed by four-AA-rosettes. The relaxed Italian group Cafe Murano has grown to three locations in London's St James’s, Bermondsey, and Covent Garden.
Holah was previously an executive chef at Harrods and Selfridges and has worked for Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White and John Williams at the Ritz London.
Hartnett said: "We’re really happy to welcome James Holah as the new group executive chef for Cafe Murano and Murano. James is joining the team having worked with some of the industry’s best. including Phil Howard, Sally Clarke and John Williams. We can’t wait for him to bring his wealth of experience to the Murano family."
