Pizza Hut Ashford at Eureka Leisure Park has undergone a £785,000 renovation as part of a £60m nationwide refurbishment and restructuring programme.
The refurbishment is the biggest to date across the Pizza Hut brand, which comprises 270 restaurants across England, Wales and Scotland.
A new menu at the site includes ultimate thin pizza, frickles (fried pickles), and American-style waffles. Staff have been trained to make popular hard shakes and cocktails including mojitos and margaritas, and a new cocktail menu offers drinks designed to complement food items.
The aim behind the refurbishment was to turn Pizza Hut Ashford into an evening destination, appealing to a wider customer base.
An outdoor pop-up bar will serve two for one cocktails, mocktails and hard shakes until the end of August to celebrate the opening.
Restaurant manager Geraint Pym said: "We are really excited to show off our new makeover. There's no other Pizza Hut restaurant like it. It's a huge step forward and a real game changer for us. We have invested in standout features, which really bring the restaurant to life including an amazing illuminated feature wall. We also have our very own cocktail bar, which has created a more animated nighttime destination for our customers to enjoy."
Regular diners can still expect to see the Ice Cream Factory, Salad Station and buffet after the refit. However the facilities are now part of a new interactive design including a central preparation station and self-service drinks hubs.
