Compass Group's Instore business has signed a new £60m contract with home and leisure retailer The Range.
The three-year deal is an extension to a contract that first began in 2005, when the Range had 25 stores. Instore's team of around 430 staff will now deliver café services at 68 outlets across the UK.
Compass will invest to modernise the cafe facilities, particularly those that were opened around the launch of the original contract, and introduce new branded coffee shop Dee Dee's. A new stone-baked pizza offer will also be introduced in some stores.
Commenting on the new deal, Andy Rees, managing director for Instore, said: "We're over the moon to have won this new contract and really excited about nurturing our relationship with The Range. The key element for us in retaining this contract is the trust our client has in our ability to deliver, so it's great to be able to continue working with them, helping to drive The Range brand and our service offering forward."
Paul Shewbrook, chief operating officer at The Range, added: "Having built a great reputation for foodservice and customer satisfaction, the Instore team knows and understands our business and, as a catering partner, they continue to evolve and produce great results for us."
