The Best Western Plus Pinewood on Wilmslow hotel has added a new restaurant, bedrooms and extra jobs, following an investment of £1.4m.
The 58-bedroom Cheshire hotel has created 17 new jobs, added 12 bedrooms and built a new as-yet-unnamed 85-seat restaurant with views over the gardens, which is expected to open next month. It has also installed a new kitchen, while the conference and banqueting rooms have also been refurbished.
The new jobs include a new restaurant manager and events manager, alongside positions in housekeeping, reception, food and beverage and in the kitchen.
Hotel general manager John Scott said that the new bedrooms had been especially important in allowing the hotel's business to grow. He added: "We have spent the last three years developing the hotel's reputation as a provider of high levels of hospitality and service, with a consistently good quality food product and accommodation."
The investment is part of an on-going enhancement project for the hotel, which was bought by Pinewood on Wilmslow LLP in 2011, as a partnership of the four directors at the best Western Plus Castle Green Hotel in Kendal.
