Turnover and profits soar at Ask

Pizza and pasta restaurant operator Ask Central has announced increases in pre-tax profits and turnover for the six months to 1 July.
Turnover for the company grew by 28% to £36.2m, from £28.3m in 2000. Pre-tax profits saw an increase of 32%, from £4.48m last year to £5.91m in 2001.

 

He added that the company would stay focused on achieving good results and would continue to open restaurants.

 

Ask opened nine new restaurants during the financial year and has since opened seven more. It plans to open a total of about 25 establishments each year.

 

Ask Central currently operates 125 restaurants and cafés in the UK.
