Film legend Sir Michael Caine is to open an upmarket Indian restaurant in London - his first restaurant venture for 12 years.
Caine is teaming up with restaurateur Claudio Pulze and his business partner Raj Sharma to open Deya later this month.
The 70-seat restaurant, on Portman Square, will also have a cocktail bar to hold 30 people.
It aims to provide a modern take on Indian food, "in a comfortable environment, at a reasonable price."
Head chef Sanjay Dwivedi was formerly at Zaika, also in London.
His menu will feature healthy, light dishes and vegetarian cuisine, along with traditional Indian dishes.
Deya is Caine's first restaurant venture since he opened Canteen in 1992, again in London.
He said: "I have been out of the restaurant business for quite a few years. This particular project is the first venture that has excited me enough to get back into the business, and I am really looking forward to it."
