Compass wins two multi-million pound contracts

Contract caterer Compass has announced two contract wins, adding a combined turnover of just over £3.5m a year.

Compass' healthcare catering subsidiary Medirest won a three-year contract with a total turnover of £9m to provide catering, cleaning and support services for more than 500 patients, staff and visitors at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust in Surrey.

The group also announced that its Eurest subsidiary had won a seven-year contract, with a total turnover of £4.3m to provide catering services to more than 1,700 police officers, 940 civilian staff and 300 special constables at the Hertfordshire Constabulary.
