Minor Hotels has called in business management consultant AlixPartners to resolve cashflow problems at Wolseley Hospitality Group, which previously belonged to Jeremy King and Chris Corbin.
The owner of the Wolseley Hospitality Group has called in restructuring advisers to help the group navigate cashflow issues, Sky News has reported.
Thai-based Minor Hotels is said to be working with AlixPartners on a project that “could lead to a range of outcomes”.
The Wolseley Hospitality Group’s portfolio includes London restaurants the Delaunay, Brasserie Zédel, Colbert, Fischer’s, Soutine and Bellanger. It opened long-awaited seafood restaurant Manzi’s and Wolseley City in 2023.
Last year, Minor said it was looking to expand the business after it wrested control of the restaurant group, formerly named Corbin & King, from its founder Jeremy King in a takeover in 2022.
Jeremy King has since announced numerous restaurant projects in London, including Arlington in London’s Mayfair, which opened this spring.
