All the members of the Winterhalter and Classeq sales teams are now CFSP certified.
The Certified Food Service Professional (CFSP) is run by the FEA (the Foodservice Equipment Association) and is designed to raise professionalism throughout the foodservice industry. It gives students a holistic understanding of how a commercial kitchen operates, covering areas as diverse as food safety, workflow and legislation, as well as looking at appliances, services and technology.
“CFSP gives us the knowledge to properly understand our customers’ objectives and day-to-day problems,” says Richard Reed, business development manager at Winterhalter. “Of course we know about dishwashing and glass washing, but CFSP teaches you about how the rest of the kitchen operates, and how it all integrates. It’s a really useful programme that delivers solid benefits – both to us and to our customers.”
