Chinaware designer and manufacturer William Edwards, based in the historic Anderton Works in the centre of the Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent, has announced the launch of William Edwards Professional, an extension of its service to some of the world's most iconic hotels.
From 8 January 2018 William Edwards Professional, which lists the Ledbury, Claridge's and the Connaught among its clients, will open its ranges to boutique and country house hotels and restaurants across the UK, who will be able to commission their own range or order from existing house ranges.
The Signature Collection includes seven ranges: Snipe Frost, Spiro, Reed, Conservatory, Regency, Burnished Gold and Burnished Platinum.
The Snipe range has been designed in partnership with two-Michelin-starred chef Brett Graham and was revealed at a lunch in his award-winning restaurant the Ledbury last week. Snipe Frost features a classic shape and a frosted trim, which adds texture and avoids finger-marking.
Graham said: "The new Snipe Frost collection of dinner plates epitomises all that I value highly in tableware. Simple, cleanliness; practicality and showing off our creations to perfection."
William Edwards, owner and managing director of William Edwards, who hosted the launch, added: "My mission has always been to champion the craftsmanship and traditional skills found in Stoke-on-Trent and producing ranges where the shape of each piece is as important as the design.
"With my William Edwards collections, I am delighted to bring beautiful ranges of fine bone china, which draws upon my many years of experience working with the best hotels and restaurants to create five-star quality tableware for the hospitality industry and private homes."
