UK hotel, restaurant and coffee shop operator Whitbread is set to launch its fourth Bar + Block Steakhouse in Bath city centre.
On 28 September, the steak-focussed, all-day casual dining restaurant brand will open its latest site on James Street West, following the roll-out of sites in Birmingham, London and Whiteley, Hampshire over the last year.
Bar + Block Bath will be a 3,780 sq ft, 132-cover informal steakhouse serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an emphasis on high quality steaks at affordable prices.
The modern design, inspired by the theatre of food and drink, will include an open kitchen and central feature bar with copper detailing, reclaimed wood, comfy seating and warm lighting. It will also include the brandâs signature neon cow, wall calligraphy detailing the brand story and colourful, contemporary artwork.
The first, 173-cover Bar + Block was launched in Birmingham city centre last year, updating the companyâs Beefeater brand values for a younger audience.
Nathalie Pomroy, chief marketing officer for Whitbread Restaurants, said: âWeâre very excited to launch our fourth Bar + Block Steakhouse in Bath as part of our wider brand growth strategy. Following the success in Birmingham, London and Whiteley, we are eager to see how our unique offering will be received in the beautiful city of Bath filled with real foodies.â
