Plant-based burger company the Vurger Co has received £600,000 from investors towards its expansion.
As well as further sites following the opening of its first 30-cover permanent site in London's Shoreditch earlier this year, the brand is planning "some other exciting projects".
The group's next site will be opening in October in London and it also has its sights set on international expansion.
The Vurger Co has also appointed the author of the Vegan 100 cookbook, Gaz Oakley, executive chef. Oakley previously worked as a chef at the New House hotel and Le Gallois in Cardiff.
Neil Potts and Rachel Hugh founded the Vurger Co as a market stall in August 2016 championing indulgent plant-based fast food. In July 2017 the company raised £300,000 in just under 77 hours towards its first permanent restaurant.
