Umbrella Training has announced a new partnership with 90s fitness sensation and wellbeing guru, Mr Motivator, to kickstart a series of activities aiming to support the mental and physical wellbeing of its apprentices, business partners and the wider industry.
The series, titled ‘No More Banana Bread’, will run throughout Lockdown 3.0 on the company’s social media channels, and will include a short weekly exercise class with Mr Motivator, also known as Derrick Errol Evans.
As well as the weekly motivational sessions, the 12-week series will address various topics and themes, such as equality, diversity and communities, employment and transferable Skills and wellbeing and mental Health, through live interviews, blogs and virtual roundtable discussions.
Content will range from online insight sessions, workshops with business leaders, and conversations with experts and apprentices. Leaders set to take part include Dr Hilary Cooke, Rachel Begbie, Lorraine Copes, Harry Murray and Sally Beck.
To follow Mr Motivator's sessions, log onto Umbrella Training’s IGTV channel at 10am every Monday. A recording will be available on the company’s YouTube channel following each broadcast.

“The content is open to everybody, whether you’re an industry professional, a budding apprentice, school leaver or current learner there is content planned to appeal to people of all ages and levels. We are really looking forward to everything we have in store over the next three months.”
