North-west based Oddfellows Hotels plans to expand its accommodation offer with the addition of two apartments.
The 18-bedroom Oddfellows hotel in Chester will open a fifth apartment with a courtyard setting, a short walk from the town house hotel, while the 22-bedroom Oddfellows on the Park in Cheadle, Greater Manchester, will convert its salon and treatment rooms into a two-bedroom apartment.
Oddfellows Hotels, which is privately owned by a trio of investors and managed by Bespoke Hotels, intends to create the new offer in response to demand for serviced-style apartments from corporate guests, families and groups of friends.
Paul Brown, regional director, Bespoke Hotels, said: "Apartments at Oddfellows have enjoyed a consistently high demand ever since the first apartment came on board in Chester almost five years ago. The apartments offer the best of both worlds for our guests.
