Miko Hand Roasted in Scotland coffee

 

Miko Coffee has launched a Hand Roasted in Scotland range of artisan speciality blends, produced in-house at the company's new roastery in East Kilbride. Espresso 2 is medium-bodied coffee from South America, with fruity tones, a honeyed sweetness and a nutty, chocolate caramel bite. Espresso 3 is also sourced from South America and has a bright and fruity flavour with a toffee and chocolate finish.

Portobello Road Director's Cut gin

 

Artisan gin brand Portobello Road has launched its third limited-edition Director's Cut gin, created by master distiller Jake F Burger. Inspired by the mezcal distillation processes, the small-batch gin is distilled with a turkey breast suspended in the still, a traditional method from Mexico, resulting in the world's first pechuga gin. The product also contains nutmeg and mace harvested on Grenada.

Blade, a compact draught system

 

Businesses limited for space can now tap into the draught beer market (which outsells bottled beer by three to one) with Blade, a compact draught system. Blade can be set up on a counter-top, with no maintenance or installation costs nor any lines to be cleaned. The system just needs to be fitted with a pre-chilled keg, plugged in and pressurised before pouring. Heineken and Birra Moretti are currently available in eight-litre kegs.

San Jamar digital timers

 

San Jamar's latest digital timers, the Pro MZR line, offer a range of formats and functions. The extra-large TMDGXL measures 89x83mm, can time three events simultaneously, and has stopwatch and clock functions, with flashing LED and loud audio alarms. The Touch Screen Digital Timer has a 76x76mm screen with a power-saving display. Both models can time up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
