Bronze pillars stolen from Hertfordshire Hotel

Four bronze pillars have been stolen from the Grove Hotel in Chandler’s Cross.

Two pillars were stolen between 1am and 9am on Thursday 1 June, with two more taken between 2am and 4am on Thursday 8 June.

Police have described the suspects as three white males, one of whom was using an electric scooter, and dressed in dark clothing.

PC Casey Bradding of Hertfordshire Police said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.

“If you took these sculptures, please contact me so that they can be returned to the rightful owner.

“I am also appealing for dog walkers to remain vigilant and to keep an eye out, in case you pass these sculptures discarded in any undergrowth.”

Anyone with information is asked to email PC Bradding at caseyjohn.bradding@herts.police.uk.

Alternatively, you can stay anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
