Faye Stone has been promoted to hotel manager at the 12-bedroom Pig in the Wall in Southampton after working her way up through the business from receptionist.
Stone joined the five-strong Pig group, which is owned and operated by Home Grown Hotels, in 2012 at the original Pig hotel in Brockenhurst, Hampshire.
In January, she moved to the Pig in the Wall as assistant manager to take over the running of the property from former hotel manager Jamie Banner, while he spent some time at the Pig on the Beach in Studland Bay, Dorset.
Banner will now move to the Brockenhurst hotel before taking on the role of deputy general manager at the Pig at Bridge Place near Canterbury, Kent.
The Pig at Bridge Place, which will become the Pig's sixth property, will open in spring 2019. Further Pig hotels are set to open in Padstow, Cornwall, in 2019, and near Arundel, West Sussex in 2020.
The Pig in the Wall is located in Southampton's medieval city walls and operates as a bed and breakfast operation. Guests can be transported for lunch and dinner to the Pig in Brockenhurst.
Robin Hutson heads Home Grown Hotels as chairman and chief executive.
