The Ivy Collection saw turnover more than double in the year to 29 July 2018 as a result of the rapid expansion of its brasserie and café concepts.
The year saw 14 new openings, including Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Harrogate and York, driving revenue to £98.5m, compared to £43.9m the previous year.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation also more than doubled to £11.5m, compared to £4.7m the previous year.
Since the year end the group has opened four new sites, including its first dual-offer site offering its brasserie menu alongside an ‘Ivy Asia' offering. In financial results, published to Companies House, the group said that uncertainty around Brexit was seeing it constantly assess the market and that while it remains confident of its position, it would be taking on new sites cautiously and expected the rate of openings to slow.
