The Dining Room at the Goring to relaunch in March

The Dining Room restaurant at the Goring hotel in London is set to reopen in March following a multimillion-pound redesign.

The five-red-AA-star hotel’s flagship restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2016 and has been led by executive chef Graham Squire since August 2019.

It is currently closed for the refurbishment, which is being overseen by Russell Sage Studio.

An announcement on the relaunch said the new design would have an "opulent aesthetic" that honoured the history of the hotel.

Upon completion, the restaurant will also feature a new state-of-the-art kitchen and a custom-built chef’s table for up to six guests.

Prior to joining the Goring, Squire was head chef at the Lickford Inn in West Sussex and head chef at the Michelin-starred Trinity restaurant in London’s Clapham.

He had also worked at Claridge’s in London’s Mayfair and Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons in Oxfordshire.

The Goring was opened by Otto Goring in 1910 and is now one of the few luxury properties in London to be owned and run by the family that built it.
