Tender: Pavilion, Graylingwell Park, Chichester

Chichester Community Development Trust (CCDT) is seeking an experienced operator to deliver an excellent catering service at the Pavilion, situated within the beautiful park and green space in Graylingwell Park in Chichester.

The Pavilion is a purpose-built health and wellbeing space in the heart of Graylingwell. Overlooking the park (eight hectares) the Pavilion has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the park includes play areas, newly installed pitches, and trim trails with wonderful parkland views. The residential population around the venue is growing at pace with 3,000 new homes being delivered and planned.

CCDT is looking for a tenant with the passion and vision to transform the space into much-needed welcoming café providing a six- to seven-day-a-week food and beverage offer. CCDT are also interested to hear from café operators who are interested in working with community organisations to support and host events with the intention of creating a community and increasing footfall to the park.

The Pavilion is in the heart of Graylingwell Park in north-east Chichester. There is good connectivity to the park, with access to bus routes, car parking and it is also 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. The area is experiencing a huge amount of regeneration, with new build housing opposite the park as well as community facilities, pitches and sports changing.
