Organic seaweed skincare range Ishga is enhancing its environmental credentials by introducing body wash, shampoo and conditioner in large sizes. The company says the new 250ml containers are its response to hoteliers looking for solutions to reduce single-use plastics • Ishga is the phonetic derivation of the gaelic for "water"
• Products contain a blend of Hebridean sea-salt water, spring water and seaweed extract
• Seaweed is said to have natural anti-oxidant, healing and anti-ageing properties
• Suitable for sensitive skin, the new body wash is also infused with lemon grass, juniper berry, geranium and lavender essential oils

2 Grape benefits

 

Products from French skincare brand Caudalie will be available exclusively from Aslotel from this summer. Founded in Bordeaux in 1995, Caudalie products contain grape seed polyphenols, reputed to have anti-aging properties. The fragrance has grape and

Pure Lakes Skincare is now offering bespoke fragrances from its base in the Lake District National Park. Hoteliers can meet with the artisan, small-batch manufacturer to design their own scent. Pure Lakes blends from a palette of essential oils and plant-based ingredients
• Bespoke products can be supplied in 50ml or 100ml eco-plastic bottles with 250ml also available for public bathrooms and spas
• Products are tested by a cosmetic scientist during the development phase
• All products are biodegradable and orders are despatched in recycled packaging

4Â Style with Jill Stein

 

Porthdune is a new range of natural toiletries developed by Jill Stein (co-founder of the Seafood Restaurant and interior designer for Rick Stein restaurants, shops and cookery school) and Amanda Winwood (managing director of Cornish skincare experts Made for Life Organics) • Five products are available: shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand and body wash and hand and body lotion, in distinctive blue and white packaging. Stein says “the range was inspired by the beauty of the Cornish coast”
• Winwood developed the formulations, which include natural and organic ingredients such as seaweed and aloe vera. There are no artificial fragrances, sulphates or parabens

5Â Buwier showcases Bulgari

 

The new 120-page brochure from amenities specialist Buwier includes the guest collection from Bulgari Parfums for the first time. Renowned as a jeweller and worn by film star Elizabeth Taylor, Bulgari is an established name in luxury and Buwier says the brand brings this savoir faire into the making of its perfumes
• The brochure includes the Eau Parfumée range â€" five fragrances featuring different teas and other distinctive ingredients, such as ylang-ylang
• Eau Parfumée au thé vert is a tribute to Japanese green tea and Bulgari’s first unisex fragrance
• Bulgari products are offered in an extensive range of sizes. Soaps are available in 50g, 75g and 150g, and shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion items are 40ml, 75ml and 200ml
